So funny that you finally purchased one. My 15 year old son has become obsessed with cooking (yes that is good, but we are working with him on eating issue. A hole another story) and asked me to get an Air Fryer. I said we would. He could not wait and bought himself one. Now he is experimenting and cooking us dinner! I will pass on this recipe to him.

I truly can’t believe I was as stubborn as I was. But also I’m a Taurus thru and thru and we are bulls!! So glad he’s loving cooking!!

I’ve been told that air fryers are nothing more than or equivalent to convection ovens. True? Can I make these using the same temperature and time in my convection oven on a baking sheet with a wire rack?

Air fryers are indeed mini convection ovens. The smaller space makes for a quick preheat and the crispiness that everyone raves about. I still have oven and grill instructions for this recipe however, so scroll down, and you’ll see it. I’ve learned my lesson when k got the instant pot to give the alternate cooking instructions bc not everyone has the same device.

Okay, my Insta Pot has a layer of dust on it. But, you might’ve just saved our Air Fryer. Gotta admit, was trepid going into it. 16 minutes to cook chicken thighs? And isn’t ranch something 14-year old boys dunk everything in to drown out flavors? I was wrong. These babies were so juicy, a little crusty on top and the citrusy dill notes really elevated the dish. Would love to try this same technique with the bbq when I can get my mitts on some. Thanks Anna!
