Let’s get this party started!
I love to write a gift guide, and every year, although I come up with more and more things to share with y’all, I still have to resist the temptation to buy everything on this list.
Some links below are affiliate links and some are not. You don’t get charged extra if I make a few ducats from a purchase.
MERRY HAPPY FROM ANNA CLAUS!!!
FOOD AND DRANKS
We have the BEST gifts over at Eat Happy Kitchen!
Our Spice Variety Packs are a fantastic hostess or client gift. If you know someone obsessed with ranch dressing, taco Tuesday, or grilling any kind of meats, they are in good hands with this gift.
The EHK Holiday Bundle has sauces and spices, but also fun merch that we don’t offer anywhere else, including the coveted tea towel, the cute tomato ornament, a shopping bag, measuring spoons, and a mini charcuterie board.
And of course, we have gift cards that can be emailed to folks immediately, should you need a last minute way to look like a hero.
Villa Cappelli Olive Oil. Duh. The best olive oil on the planet. Use discount code “VINNIE” to get 10% off your order. Anything from this site is fire, but this is the gateway drug…I mean, oil.
Pair this curry powder with EHK’s Pumpkin Marinara, and you have a taste sensation that’s out of this world. Plus Droosh doesn't use fillers, sugar, or starches in their spice mixes. Win win.
Trust and believe. These are delicious.
Future Perfect Bubbles Bundle.
Sunshine Stricker is the founder/winemaker extraordinaire over at Future Perfect, and when I tell you her wine is incredible, it is INCREDIBLE. I never drink sparkling wine (it gives me heartburn, dang), but I’m obsessed with Sunny’s Blanc de Blanc and Sparkling Rosé. You will be too. Plus, I promise that no one you know has this champagne, and the labels are gorgeous.
AND SPEAKING OF WINE—
If you want to be at the forefront of what’s happening with wine, or just need a few bottles to bring to a party that is the opposite of what’s on the shelves at Costco, look no further than Eric Nielsen at Kompas Wine Club. Tell him I sent you, and he will customize a selection for you that will knock your socks off.
Doesn’t this bar kit make you wanna make an Old Fashioned, or a Side Car, or a some kind of Harvey Wallbanger concoction?
Imagine these frosted up with an ice cold martini in them!
CLOTHES, COZIES, AND HOME
Alpaca Slippers from Lonetree. Put these on my feet right now. I might even go to the store in these.
In NorCal, they wear Vans. In SoCal, we wear Seavees. Based in Santa Barbara, Seavees has the chic, casual men’s, women’s, and kids slip on and sneaks you want (and I think priced well).
Every year, I get one new cashmere sweater and then have to get rid of one that’s full of holes and pills. But at this price point and these colors, I wanna get two. Classic silhouette, can’t go wrong.
Loren asked for this for Christmas. I don’t think he realizes that the Aviator Nation logo is also the same initials as his wife’s name. Regardless, these tees fit great.
Everything Michelle Beamer curates over at Lonetree is amazing. I love this rustic, elegant vase, and I also want 10 stalks of white gladiolus to put in it.
Y’all. Weighted blankets are fugs. People keep trying to convince me to get one, but I don’t want some industrial blanket adorning my bed or sofa. But this one is actually cute! And it’s made from recycled plastic! What what!
When I went to Seattle in July to demo sauces at the gorgeous West Seattle Thriftway, Summer and Tammi from Rustically Chic Candles showed up and gifted me their Tuscan Olive Candle (they know what I like!). I fell in love with this candle, and subsequently their entire line. Message them over at IG to order custom candles. This is a unique and wonderful gift that your people will love!
Classic and classy.
STOCKING STUFFERS
Guaranteed no one has these and everyone needs them. I bought mine on a whim, and now I use it all the time. Give it to all your friends who make a good charcuterie board. They will use it, I swear.
Do what the cheesemongers do, and store your cheese properly!
My absolutely favorite pens. I don’t draw, I only write, but you can give them to any pen and ink artist in your life. I write a LOT. I write by hand…lists, journals, notes…my penmanship is terrible, and this pen just flows easily without bleeding through the paper. People steal these pens from me, so I order them by the box.
My favorite To-Do list notebook and my favorite notebook for meeting notes and all around brainstorming. LOVE these notebooks!
Nopalera Cactus Cream Dulce De Cuerpo.
Sandra Velasquez over at Nopalera makes my all time favorite soaps. Now she has introduced what has become my favorite body lotion. I’m in constant search of a body lotion that doesn’t make your skin feel dry 20 minutes after you put it on, and I’ve found it with this one. Plus, the heavenly smell makes you feel like you just cast a spell on your skin.
Anyone suffering from pain and needing some fascial help, this medieval torture device looking thing is the newest creation from the FasciaBlaster team. I love their stuff, and this thing is intense, but it’s helped me with sciatic pain, migraine, and with the hub’s plantar fasciitis. Use carefully, but if you gift it to your partner, you’ll also get to use it when you get hurt!
I just bought these sampler kits for my nieces. I am also gonna get their shampoo for myself.
For some delish holiday party recipes, make these, and give the gift of home cooked food…
Asparagus Prosciutto Flatbread
Bacon Wrapped Scallops with Chili Lime Mango Dipping Sauce
